NExt patch can bereleased today, Update a new map thats a patch, Or next major overhaul?  

I mean, LEt em work...  IF they give a time frame people leave and wait till the time they give, IFthey don;t say anything people get disgruntled, Wither way if a newplayer comes around they are screwing themselves because ppl will say we are waiting for the new patch....

no it wont, a reset or some actual movement on the war map will. All you're doing now is playing for doctrines and vet, who cares about wins other than getting xp faster.

you know what else would bring people in, vet 4 being able to rename your units like in OMG, thats bloody awesome.

Vet hasn't been implemented at OMG.

That a stupid idea; do you understand how much work that would create? Its not even possible to do that via a modifier or addition to a unit as to make that happen, you have to change the ui_info target which is coded in the Squad blueprint, so for that to be possible, you would have to create a new squad for each squad someone wants to customise, now image in a late war, there would be over 150 different vet 4 squads; thats 150 new squad that would have to be created to just cater for those units.

How about we, EIR focus on a solid product without stupid gimmicks to bring in our players.

Oh and patch; I'm working on something else that's taking my time away from coding work, but I know EIRRMOD has been hard at work on 007E

A mods community is typically small enough that everyone already knows about your Skilled unit or will soon find out. Besides, naming my Tiger 007 isn't going to make it kill any faster

actually yours is. He just told you how much work it'd go into doing all that. You see OMG is trying to do all that and they dont even have Vet yet! They released omg before eirr and eirr is still ahead in many ways.

I'd rather they focus on game play than stupid gimmicks like getting a custom skin or custom name, who gives a crap lol. When I come out with my vet 3 hummel, or vet 3 priest, it doesn't matter if it has a kinky name, it still kicks ass.

With a kinky name/skin you can be sure people won't let it go alive though, haha.

How about this, all vet 4 units get a big target on them!

what ever happened to the bounty system we had? that was pretty neat, though at this stage in the war everyone has so much vet i don't think it really matters. i think a simple unlock of every thing will bring people back, only for a week or two, but maybe they could get a lot done on the patch in that time.

Wasn't it said before that when all doctrines were fully unlocked the last time round, we lost a lot of players?

no, we temporarily lost a lot of the levelleld who were lvl8.

but everyones lvl 8 now so...

Maybe skinners could help us out here. 

The guys who do skins if they have time, Could create custom skins... 

Top units on the leaderboard could recive certain skins... 

IF you have a tiger you ask for something Special and they make it happen, Easier then Renaming, and just hard enoguh to look absolutly bad ass. 

Again only if people wanted it. 

Personally an All black commando Ambush squad looking like ninjas  would be fuckign sweet :-P 

OR a tiger with a Huge Iron Cross painted on the Top. 

Maybe not everyone in the community would see it, But i would see mine, and that goes a long way :-P
