Reading your description and seeing who played makes it too obvious :P But i will watch it tomorrow! Title: Re: Schijndel Stackattack Post by: TheWindCriesMary on March 11, 2010, 02:28:43 pm I was the first one annihilated so it wasnt a stomp from my end.
Also Robofrish fully agreed it wasn't a stomp, and he is a damn good player (Dnice too). -Wind Title: Re: Schijndel Stackattack Post by: Smokaz on March 11, 2010, 02:29:24 pm Thats enough no matter what you think if of the teams posting comments like this only achieves flaming. We have enough lowbrow comments and metaphysical EIRR game show hosts here already. Wind and unknown you shouldnt encourage this discussion by replying to it either.
Title: Re: Schijndel Stackattack Post by: TheWindCriesMary on March 11, 2010, 02:37:23 pm I think one of the most interesting parts of the game was how captivating the final 15 minutes were.
I was annihilated first (with quite a large gap between me and the next person) and got the opportunity to watch it, and I think this game shows some really cool metagame dynamics at work. 1. Axis tanks dominating 2. Allied handheld AT/ATG/Light Vehicle combo proving to be a very effective counter 3. Excellent allied use of scouting (jeeps galore) which displayed a high level of play 4. Allied numerical superiority in terms of infantry - a very close call at one point with backcapping 5. A beautiful use of howitzer artillery (I actually got annihilated from a howie hitting my AC) All in all it was a very interesting game that (from what I have gathered) was immensely enjoyable to both sides. Were doing a semi-rematch atm aswell, which is shaping up to be a good one too. -Wind ps. Aloha, smokaz, Two: if you have nothing to contribute to the thread, or are not going to watch the replay, then do the courtesy of refraining from attempts to derail it. Thank you. Title: Re: Schijndel Stackattack Post by: skaffa on March 11, 2010, 02:55:00 pm Featuring wind's epic tellermine spam company MachineGunBunker has been doing this for a while now, Wind also played MGB and his proud Firefly hit those Tellermines, but since it was all bugged, Brit tanks including his Firefly received no damage from them. In the other topic he says he is going to start a 'revolution', sry Wind but its alrdy been done by someone else and you knew it, funny. Its a fun comment with more than a little bit of silliness. Lets not bring it to other threads. Lets talk about this game. It was a fun one and both sides enjoyed it. A good time all around. -Wind Title: Re: Schijndel Stackattack Post by: sheffer on March 11, 2010, 03:39:32 pm replay?
