The game wasn't all that brilliant tbh, I just thought I'd throw it up due to the loss of one of my four squads of vet 3 Commandos which are quite old squads lol.

Magix movie edit pro is mixing down a 58 minutish .avi file to mp4 format. Its seriously taken 30+ minutes already! Insane!

But the compression seems to be okay. At what I suspect to be more than half done, its only 180 mb so far.

Frankly i suggest dont even bother watching the cast. If the players involved said it was shit, who are you to judge.

Well if smokaz wants to do the lower games that I cannot get to, then more power to him. Practice never hurts

When we begin to have everyone contribute to player content, then we can afford to be picky. The more the better tbh.

I remember Windcries ranting towards me with his long winded responses like frikken one page long about Why both teams have to agree if the reply is good etc etc etc and im sticking to that. If Smokaz gonna use his time. use it for something more Worthwhile than doing something that is shit and not gonna get good reviews. its just common sense

Alright, look:

A.) All content by players helps and is appreciated.

B.) Shoutcasting by yourself sucks and your not gonna get everything perfect on the first go.

C.) Smokaz is looking at this game under a rather technical lense. If you cant handle the criticism then dont watch.

D.) Shoutcasts are done for the communities benefit and will only be as good as the replays you provide us.

 This particular one is not gonna be slapped ontop of the next press release so I dont understand the hubub. Dont look a gift horse in the mouth. If you think you can do better, then lets see some product then.

Perhaps my criticism should be more specific.

First off, I've nothing against being slandered on a technical standpoint... Yes I did suck that game.

Next, you should have really worked on the quality before recording, not during. The frequent pauses interrupt the flow of the cast.

On top of that, near the end at one point the video repeats a section about 2-3 minutes long.

Finally, I could of swore I told you M1d was my brother lol.

I don't care too much about bad performance on my part, I have bad games, I threw this one up as a leader board unit bit the dust. I hardly expected a shout-cast to come of it.

I can get my head around your brand of humour and your comments fair enough, each person that does some form of broadcast has their own style, some like it, some don't. However, the quality of your performance should be neatened up - I don't mean video quality, you work with what you can get your hands on.

Finally someone made a coherent post... That  will show the troll Smokaz who's boss.  No but really I agree with you Hicks, smokaz that shoutcast was kinda lame.

Would be good if ya learned a thing or two from this attempt.

For the record, I even liked the fact that you made fun of my attachment to those Commandos - I was ridiculously attached to them for a long time.

In my opinion smokaz was even to well-behaved and serious in his shoutcast
if you know some of his broadcasts with activated audio you should be prepared for raging flaming and insulting

i like it! It adds some depth to an audio commentary when there is not just talk about whats going on but additional talk about what someone thinks about whats going on

i liked it only because i was in it  ;D, and it was pretty funny, "that marder just got Piaaat on" lol

yea the choppiness was a little annoying, and there was a section that repeated, but i didnt mind, its not like the game was any good, and i dont think its gonna become any kind of representation of EIR:R at its best, so theres not much to worry about

but smokaz i liked the humor, just work on making future shoutcasts smoother, and if it will be used in any way to represent EIR:R, then choose a WAY better game lol
