But seriously, I have donated $400.00 to this thing and assumed it was for upkeep of the site and ventrillo. Why the fuck is vent down? If it is due to negligence and forgetfulness, then get it to fucking gether!!!!! How hard is it to pay bills on time?

If this is because the donations are not enough, or a death in the family, or something important, then I apologize for being so rude.

lol. While i dont find this a serious issue, (as it's probably forgetfullness tbh, i know that the fund isnt dry because ive been trying ((unsuccessfully)) to use it for advertisement funding.) we should probably get the vent license on some kind of automatic payment system.

Mate...seriously its Christmas hes spending time with his family...... it happens now and then, hes only one bloke who manages the accounts and is also feverishly working on that warmap.

Life can continue without vent for a day or two. There is no need for that level of rudness i expected more from you tank.

I'm surprised the payments are not done automatically each month though.

I personally run a Ventrilo server, admin-side and all.

You can indeed have payments set to monthly, but considering donations keep the thing running, I suppose it would be prudent not to have that the case.

On the other hand... It also takes about 5-10 minutes of sitting on your comp to make the payment happen. Including boot up time.

Load up, pay off Vent, close down comp, do something else - Something I've done before in a rush whilst being hounded by fambly to keep the bloody thing online.

However... If the man truly is away from a working comp, and It's not set to an automated process... Then It's a bit of good ol' tough shite 'till he gets back to a working machine. >.<

people i think we can all survive a few days without vent.  The service runs pretty good for 95% of the year. Take it easy.

The reason I publicly apologize is because I publicly criticized.
This post is obvious.

The other post that got locked; I criticized a person in a game with 4 other people, that person deserved an apology that could be read by the others involved as well as any that heard about it.

if you are having problomes about seeing the diffrence about your enemys and allies you could allways turn on the diffrent colour thing.
i use it and i think its alot better for then you can see what what allies is doing and who you need to ask if there is something.
