Yes, finally no more eastern front volksgrenadiers.
I was sceptical about the skinpack at first but it's amazing, even in urban environments... But they REALLY shine in maps like french countryside!

I'll be getting a better GFX card next month.
This one's not bad at all (Geforce 7600GT) but I'd love to run on even higher settings and be back up-to-date with some great new upcoming games.

A few cement block splats, the out of bounds border marker, and I think he might've used the cement tile?

cement tiles that are colored red on top of a while line, it was sent to me by a friend, he built it for fun, and as a joke. not sure if he will ever release the map he built it in. He will give me his current map before he adds control points it has a lot of nice detail. will start a thread when he sends me screenshots.

ah I would have though that it is 800 levels or arbitrary nvidia points (dunno what to call them) above the 8800GTX then it would automatically be better than it  :-\.

The 8600 is not better than the 7900.
One's a midrange card, the other is a high-end.

The midrange cards of the follow-up generation are generally never better than the high-end cards of the previous generation, they do however come close and are generally cheaper. You'll pay 250 - 400 for a high end 8000 series card, you'll pay 150 - 200 for a midrange card which will come close.

That really confuses me... one generation should be better than the last one.

Thtb, might I suggest removing some of those low res screenshots on ModDB? (some screenshots of the first series you've posted, the calliope ones etc are great though so definately not those!).
No offense but when you want to promote a mod or game through screenshots, this is always done on higher settings because it's much more appealing.

I love the second series you posted though, they're cool :).
