Hrm, that would actually be the first proper reliable mobile LV counter that I'll have seen for any side, memory permitting (Well, apart from the Ostwind). Most other mobile units CAN take them out, but it usually takes such a time that the LV's will have done their task first. Might turn out good. Its just as unpopular there at 8 pop, as it is here at 10. Quad is a performer. Skaffa even prefers quad for anti-bike duty. Ever tried shooting a jeep with a wirbel? You'd be mad fast. Problems with wirbel: high pop, 0.5 moving modifier, extremely long reload, fails at dealing damage, takes roughly the same amount of damage a quad does. Hows about a pushable variant of the Bofors which has to deploy to fire? Wouldn't mind seeing more of the bofors be it on a vehicle or pushed around - It's so under used yet when it can get a shot off it can do some pretty nice damage. That being said, I was running mid t4 and top t2 on luft, without the +25%hp it's pretty useless, but yes, there is still group suppression, and in lockdown vs anything not in green cover, it'll be suppressed faster than BAR's. If anything, the BASE unit could use the +25%hp buff to make it a decent unit for all.
It should be a suppression support tool, unlike the IST which is just a rape cannon. Could just put increased long range acc for t4 in mid luft instead, or increase S and M ranges. |
