Post by: Katusha on September 03, 2011, 04:57:40 pm
What happened to being able to purchase 1 panzershreck?

It was disabled because instead of making it have one shreck, it added an extra shreck to the default two.

Now go ahead and imagine the hilarity that is triple shreck FSJ TB's nuking you from cover.

Hmmm ok I see, I really hope they still bring the 1 shreck option back though!

I don't like being an asshole and using moving cloak with double shreks, especially for 250 mu! I just want a supporting shreck.

+1 to this. FJ TBs don't have to be badass AT machines, just something to fill the much needed role of making FJs a little less pathetic vs vehicles.

Single shreck pricing would have to be between 150-180 (Could start at 160 and see where to go from there). Price increase should reflect the available buffs it can receive via doctrine and platform it is on, like (old) AB riflemen v normal riflemen on sticky pricing.

Individual decisions can be good, while still being very isolated. This would be a good rule, less so a unique targeting.

Historically sound though, I fondly remember the days of the increased default sticky range for infantry doctrine.

A uniquely strong capability may also be the part product of something to compare with. The logical difference is that somehow between the faust and the sticky, there is a engine damage ability that is hard transfer the value of from one faction to another available one.

this is stupid, why do FJ get such a good stop gap for vehicles (their fausts are fine) yet allied haters say AB cannot have a decent AI option? biased.

And I'm not saying your post was stupid carrot, i just mean the attitude in general towards the group of us proposing AI options for AB.

FSJ TB's still don't compare to the power that RR's have. RR's can sit at max range and lol at your tank, whereas FSJ TB's need to be damn close to hit, and are heaps less accurate.

+ rr's rape harder and are already a decent enough at AI.
