Weapon Cache barely affects ANY of my companies.

It's not fully implemented yet zontar. From what I understand it doesn't yet effect weapon upgrades.

from what i've seen it works, for somethings but if you already had a coy together, it doesn't affect them.

Make a new one and watch it go down

my idea of anti fun is spammed units. Not sure if weapons cache does anything to prevent that, i think its supposed to?
I rather see diverse companies not the a dozen of the same unit

That's not true at all. Rangers for example are really strong if you have a lot of them. So to keep people from having so many of them the price was increased. But that made the Rangers less appealing since they were not worth twice the cost of a Riflemen squad. So obviously changing the price to keep them at a lower amount didn't work. Because then prices wouldn't reflect on the actual unit performance.

So what is a better solution AMPM?

even vcoh had restrictions - if you spam riflemen your manpower income sinks drastically.

yeah, I'm not really sure about this weapons cache thing either. I think the only real problems when it comes to spam is snipers/arty/light vehicles. I've never had an issue with someone spamming infantry based weapons, machine guns, mortars, at guns, or tanks. So I don't think weapons cache should effect upgrades on tanks at all and have a light effect on infantry based weapons, machine guns, mortars, and at guns. This would still allow for an interesting company build while limiting the annoying stuff. I really don't want this mod to turn into omg where you have a bunch of un-upgraded infantry running around because that is just plain boring. To be honest if that happens there is like a metric shit ton of awesome games coming out that will have my attention over this unless you can still keep it interesting.

It doesnt work atm. The cache numbers are not saved into the pool after the launcher calculates them.

I'm aware of that Ground, but Tym tried to say that fresh companies are affected by pool, I was letting him know they are not.
