COH: Europe In Ruins

I lay back on the staircase of a blown out house starting at the light shining through the roof and I wondered how it got there. Artillery? Plane crash? Bomb? Heck, a tree could’ve fallen through but there wasn’t much evidence as to what happened so I closed my eyes let the sun bath me enjoying the peace before we hit the lines.

It wasn’t before long until something wet hit my face, as I pulled the wet hand towel off I heard Rascal and Barber giggling in front of me, “Haha, gotcha Noob.” Rascal is always pulling stuff, we have to watch him. He loves explosives, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the one who put the hole in the roof.

“Good shot dude, we should put you on sticky duty, Noob probably couldn’t hit the side of a barn if he was standing 5 feet away.” Barber roared while putting a razor to Rascal’s head. Barber used to be, well a barber back home and we trade him smokes n stuff for cuts. Rascal likes to get his hair shaved, I think it’s because he probably burned some of his hair off and is hiding it so he won’t appear old.

Before long a sharp voice fills the room, “Alright guys, we got the call it’s time to load up.” We all look up to the door and see Sarge standing there. No one knows his real name, and he won’t tell us. I got $5 bucks it’s Adolf or something.

I grab my Garand and throw on my helmet as Barber finishes up Rascal and I follow Johnson, and Rusty out the door with their Barrett’s in hand. Rusty and Barber are the last ones to file in the truck, Sarge is already in the back down on one knee waiting for everyone to get settled.

“Okay guys, the commander has called us up and it’s a mean one out there. Reported as called in are a Panzer 4 Stubby, some Storm Troopers, several Grenadiers and we lost a jeep to a mine earlier so watch your step. Of course, if there are Storms there’s the possibility of a Tiger or StuH’s so keep your eyes open, I’m a horrible typist and I don’t want to have to write any letters home to mommy.”

Fawk, a Tiger? That’s the last thing we need, those things are hard to take down and they could shred our whole squad with one hit. What the heck was I thinking signing up with this company? The commander’s pretty good; he’s provided us with a couple first aid kits, artillery support, triage and I even heard there might be a jumbo out on the field…

oh...there will be lots of things going boom, parts flying etc. they're basically coming in as reinforcements, pop is about 35 or so, mid game, trying to turn the tide so theres plenty of support on both sides.

It'll be on RTC ;)

Hey Tym, maybe this story could be added to Schmidt's news letter. Come out monthly or bi-monthly. A new chapter each addition.

It would help Schmidt with content, keep readers interested (even more interested I mean) and probably help to keep the Newsletter on time. You would be able to motivate each other to keep it going.

Come on guys, let's not convert every single thread into a 4chan image war lulzfest by post 10.

I am a part of the story. I just haven't showed up yet. There's a place in it where I gun down 30 nazis with nothing but my pistol (right, Tym?)

Well, the main character's name is Noob, so that describes u perfectly.

Also, hmm. I could add it to the newsletter if smitty wants it to be so. Or i could make a totally new one. Give me an idea and I can create a story around it. Heck, i can write about supernazi's in space with dildo swords (saints row 3) and make it entertaining.
