Let it add also a unlock that lets a normal rifle squad buy minesweeper without hindering other upgrades

How about just bringing back assult rifles and Combat engies?

Combat engies were a 4 man engineer squad with rifle stats and a garand(i think)
Assult rifles where a rifleman squad that was able to buy tommys, flamer GreaseGuns and Satiels and other stuff with the same sstats as rifles.

I think engineers on both allies and axis should be 4 man squads. Right now 2 axis and 3 allies doesn't make much sense.

What exactly is EIR trying to achieve? CoH or realism? I know i would prefer it to be more realistic and besides 2/3 isn't exactly balanced anyway.

Its probably the most balanced thing in this mod.

They get medkits and goliaths we get a xtra man and triage. we get more mines they are doctrinal.

there should be a rule to EIR

"if it hasn't been complained about, it will be"

also, engineers are 65 health and pios are 80 each? or is it 90

EiR is trying to achieve a fun balanced micro intensive game. Realism will probably never ever be added to later versions of EiR. Its not feasible for veterancy.

Thats what fortress Europe will be for anyways
