Title: New to map making, how does scripting work? Post by: Holliday on March 13, 2012, 06:52:02 pm Hey everyone, I've player COH for years and have done some map editing. I got an assignment in one of my game design classes in where we are to script something in an editor of our choice and i chose COH. I was wondering how you script events such as enemies spawning in a certain area and moving to another area etc.
Thanks! Title: Re: New to map making, how does scripting work? Post by: LeoPhone on March 13, 2012, 07:06:51 pm you're better off asking those questions here:

I have been able to spawn units and play around with them, or do things like drop an offmap after a set time. Here's where you need to go. RN.com has alot of tutorials.\ http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?211948-How-To-Some-Basic-Scar-for-Mappers Here is also a list of SCAR functions that you will need to learn to make them work. http://www.europeinruins.com/ScarDoc/scar_doc.htm Aside from that I dont think anyone here can help you (even me, it was so long ago, i couldnt tell you what to do) Maybe your first step is to dismantle one of CoH's single player missions and see how they work.
