So since i have been there long enough  personally i dont feel any improvement in any EIRR parts after rotation in development..  Do ya feel the same guys? I mean wtf is going on with this mod? Where are all devs? Looks like some haters making good players leave a mod.. I miss pqumsieh, Leophone or skaffa and those patches.. rare but stil we had some patches coming out but now it looks like its nuclear winter in releasing patch lool and whats up with those old devs abusing power they have? Morka left so as smokaz, leo and skaffa aint around, mysth gone.. speedy is like a ghost... no good players around to make GG every1 is bored..


So new devs wut ya gonna do for making this mod alive?

This isnt the first time EIR has gone on a patch drought and will hardly be the last, srsly the amount of times EIR has died the past 3 years is more than devs it has had.

Also the warmap was suppose to come out the 24th of dec 2010 so the delay the warmapcards have had is hardly that great.

i am not talking about eirr death i am asking our new development wut plans do they have?

Last patch was January 19th.

Last patch before that was August 23rd.

That was a 5 month gap between the last two patches, so far it has been what, 1 and a half months?

well the problem is not the time between the patches.

The problem is the current balance situation, former balance issues werent solved and new were created. thats poison for the community.
But even that would be accepted, if the devs would communicate more;  what they do, what their next ideas are, maybe also communicate problems.

The next patch is fucking huge, so it is taking some time.

We should also note, if you haven't noticed already, our lead coder for the past year quit a month ago. In the past 7 months we had one doctrine coded.
Now we have Nikomas & Volks working together. In just one month they have completed 3 doctrines......

It is pretty obvious to the dev team why production was down for the past year! But that is all we are going to say about that  ;)

This patch will see the release of Airborne, Blitz, and Luft docs. A very long list of balance changes to reward units and many other units.

From the launcher end we are seeing massive changes to the warmap in regards to sectoring and resources. We will also see implementation of the Market place for buy/selling of Warmap cards

He is also fixing some launcher bugs like the single unit deletion issue and the pool exploit bug.

So ya, this is a massive patch and takes a little while to put together. I am a little surprised you are bitching so quickly Shab. We put out a patch 2 months ago, so it's not like nothing is happening.

was that hard to say it earlier tank130? i mean access to dev plans is having wrong ppls.. more comunication is needed with comunyti like ick said in his previous post. And i think it woulda be way WAY better instead of making "HUGE" patch u better released it in few small parts

And every time we communicate what our plans are, people like you bitch and troll because we do not get it done fast enough for you. So Shab, how about we just say we are working on shit and shit will get done when it gets done.

The truth is, members of the dev team have posted several times since the last patch that we are working on another patch. So whats to communicate? We have said we are working on doctrines, Warmap, and Warmap cards in several other posts, so what are we NOT communicating to you.

You like to play over at OMG, and those guys appear to be better at communication, so perhaps you should go over there....... oh wait....they haven't patched in over a year and it takes 3 days to get a game.......

gentlemen,

its time to make certain things clear.

1. I am Confident that ALL eirr players these days appreciate the work of the developers.

2. eirr is something very emotional, we all swear, rage and yell at eachother. What is not normal is trolling.

3. Current balance is a mess and the problem is to hold new players/players who  need more training.

4. switching to omg, is certainly an option, but does it need to be encourged by certain statements?

5. The hard core of eirr would like to know whats going and certainly these guys would not troll arround, if they would know what the plans are.

6. certain players NEED my a BAN.

7. to be honest: i have my issues with certain members of the devs, so i consider certain members as interesting.

Personal opinion: I think a big part of  the problem could be solved by giving each month a "3 line" whats going on. This gives the community the feeling that something is happening and that theres communication, that they are not left alone from the developers.

Shabtajus isn't totally wrong. we all gave XYZ amount of $$ for a certain patch to release certain content on a Very certain date that was most uncertainly not finished close to this date.

I think we all understand that life get's in the way but im not sure how 2-4 weeks turned into 5 months+ :D.

It's like anything else, speak with your wallet.

I am hoping that they can get balance right, even if it means less units. I also hope for interesting and unique doctrines that encourage a multitude of builds. Doesn't mean it will happen.
