Title: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Tymathee on June 06, 2013, 05:58:47 pm I have been saying I dont like the smell of it for weeks now and this just confirmed it.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/06/microsoft-details-xbox-one-used-games-always-online?utm_campaign=fbposts&utm_source=facebook If i can afford it, I'm getting the PS4 and knew it from day one. Microsoft can suck it and I hope the Xbox dies. Unfortunately, they have so much money, it can totally blow and all their do is relaunch their next xbox with even more restrictions. They think that the gaming public is dumb, that because the xbox 360 was so popular, it's time to squeeze 'em. Well screw Microsoft. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: AmPM on June 06, 2013, 11:08:53 pm Fuck consoles, invest in alienware. Because Dell is the best place to get a computer AMIRIGHT Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: EIRRMod on June 07, 2013, 12:11:12 am Funny thing, all of the things they are talking about (RE: Tradng / Selling restrictions) - are completely illegal in NZ.
Which means one of two things. Either they dont distrubute into NZ (game companies), because they CANT due to legislation preventing/circumventing our consumer rights. OR We get amended end-user agreements. Actually, theres a third option. MS ignores it, and tries anyway... Im sure they will enforce it through their XBox subscription bullshit actually. Fuck MS. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Poppi on June 07, 2013, 02:15:15 am ima buy the PS4. i have been a xbox gamer for my life mainly because of the Remote and how much better it feels in my hands then the PS series. but if i have to be online to play games that's just fucking with me even though im connected 95% of the time. i honestly dont believe MS will shoot themeselves in the foot and give the PS4 such a great advantage. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Sachaztan on June 07, 2013, 03:01:21 am We can all hope that this shit flops, but if history tells us anything it is that gamers are collectively retarded.
Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: nikomas on June 07, 2013, 03:44:25 am I just want to adress something here about the 360 vs ps3, sales/popularity wise anyway.
America 360 >>> ps3 Europe ps3 > 360 Asia ps3 >>>>> 360 I tend to hear from americans that the 360 "won", but that only holds true för the us . Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Tachibana on June 07, 2013, 04:20:50 am Taking sales into account, Wii.

Quote From Microsoft: An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360. Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360. In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console — there will be no regional restrictions. GOD DAMNED GENIUS. Tons of free publicity from the internet outrage, nothing really to lose if they do reverse it, and a good test bed to see how it goes. Genius. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: nikomas on June 19, 2013, 03:44:46 pm Hey, rememeber all of those people that were saying that internet outrage doesnt work? Yeah, you?
Bwahahahha! Still not getting an xbone on principle, at least not anywhere near launch. We'll see how the exclusives line up a few years down the road (and price drops) Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: deadbolt on June 19, 2013, 04:32:56 pm (http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/photo/anYqpEq_460sa.gif)
Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Tymathee on June 19, 2013, 07:03:31 pm I still prefer Sony, even if xbox could show they're better, i'd still buy a ps4
Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: XIIcorps on June 19, 2013, 07:45:42 pm Even if Sony and Xbox could show their better I still prefer pc.
Because you can upgrade hardware once it becomes obsolete. Consoles Doom you to a life of lesser existence Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: EIRRMod on June 20, 2013, 12:55:00 am Please note, that cased / store bought games will still have the normal restrictions.
Also, one off selling of game. So yeah. Fun. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Unkn0wn on June 20, 2013, 01:45:11 am I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to restrict the reselling of games in the EU either.
Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Sachaztan on June 20, 2013, 02:04:31 am Yea, just like people avoid EA...oh waaait... True story :( Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Spartan_Marine88 on June 20, 2013, 10:12:32 am Not to forget no ones even seen an X-box one in action.
http://www.techpowerup.com/185721/microsoft-pulls-a-fast-one-with-e3-xbox-one-demos.html (http://www.techpowerup.com/185721/microsoft-pulls-a-fast-one-with-e3-xbox-one-demos.html) I know a lot of people will scream 'emulation' and that it would be the exact same as what the Xbox One actually can do, however the fact of the matter is that all E3 Xbox One demos were not using an Xbox. Does that mean that their dev kits aren't working? Is there flaws that they don't want to exhibit? or maybe they aren't as pretty as they are trying to sell, i wouldn't go so far as to say that some of the games displayed were touched up with some A:CM movie magic, but its possible. Title: Re: Xbox One - The Evil Revealed Post by: Tymathee on June 20, 2013, 12:51:56 pm thats my question. if the xb1 is so good, why did they use win 7 (especially when xb1 runs on win8 o.O) it really makes me wonder.
still love sony, xbox die. |
