Title: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Tymathee on July 19, 2013, 12:44:22 pm Yay.
I've already picked up System Shock 2 and MoW: Assault Squad bundle thinking of getting Skyrim, FC3: Blood Dragon and Awesomenauts, anybody have any input on these games and any other game recommendations? Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: EliteGren on July 19, 2013, 01:15:07 pm Buy Blood Dragon. You will laugh your ass off at that game
Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Tymathee on July 19, 2013, 01:48:38 pm Buy Blood Dragon. You will laugh your ass off at that game Heh. Cool. I think i may do skyrim, its $35 for the legendary edition and i feel i wont be able to get it at that price for at least a year (or until the winter sale, or a flash sale...) is Skyrim that good? Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: DarkSoldierX on July 20, 2013, 10:27:54 pm Bought Natural Selection a few hours ago, had a 1 hour 30 minute session, and I have to say, its pretty god damn fun. Fuck skyrim and is 30+ dollar price. Well worth the $6 for NS.
Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Unkn0wn on July 21, 2013, 02:50:26 am Yup, I've been playing it since the early beta days and it is one of my favourite FPS games out there. Granted it's not easy to get into, particularly aliens are a little tricky, but once you do it's tons of fun.
Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Phil on July 21, 2013, 03:21:52 am You guys are getting really OT!!
Good thing this sale is about to end, I've already bought a few things (though all old and cheap) and I'm starting to consider buying more. Don't know how long I can be strong. Also, just need a Bioshock card to get my Summer Sale badge! =) So close... Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Unkn0wn on July 21, 2013, 03:37:08 am I sell all my cards on the steam market and I just now bought a cheap background for my profile. Made almost 3 euros off that shit at least, I really don't care about cards and badges tbh. Might buy or hold on to some summer cards and then sell them when prices go up, which they inevitably will once summer sales end.
Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: CrazyWR on July 21, 2013, 04:14:51 pm picked up dishonoured plus 3 dlc's for a total of like $16 today.

For more realism, the whole game should be in made up language. Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: brn4meplz on July 22, 2013, 05:42:39 pm You wouldn't watch Star Trek or Star Wars if everyone they met didn't understand each other. Some sacrifices are made for playability. His point about cheesy themes is perfectly valid where as expecting every fantasy game to be in high elven is a little less realistic.
I'm sure there are hardcore Kilingon fans who would love to play STO in full Klingon mode. But no one knows what the hell they are saying. Not understanding each other would lead to some BSGesque missile engagements and lots of warfare and general dirty fighting. And that sir, would be so much better then touchy-feely federation. Kinda fun little game. Title: Re: Steam Summer Sale Post by: Spartan_Marine88 on July 22, 2013, 08:48:08 pm Because speaking English in a world of fantasy with elves and dwarves and shit makes sense right? For more realism, the whole game should be in made up language. However in most fantasy worlds, there is a common language, generally called "Common" Much the way English is the business language. It is assumed by most people with a thread of imagination and logic that most of what you are reading and hearing is in the common language. Although i guess if you had a actual imagination and were conversing with an elf, you could just pretend that your speaking Elvish. But i guess your not capable of imagination.
