thinking of getting Skyrim, FC3: Blood Dragon and Awesomenauts, anybody have any input on these games and any other game recommendations?

I think i may do skyrim, its $35 for the legendary edition and i feel i wont be able to get it at that price for at least a year (or until the winter sale, or a flash sale...)

for once hes got a point, finishing the main quest chain in any elder scrolls game pretty much makes that character obsolete.

Bought Natural Selection a few hours ago, had a 1 hour 30 minute session, and I have to say, its pretty god damn fun. Fuck skyrim and is 30+ dollar price. Well worth the $6 for NS.

Yup, I've been playing it since the early beta days and it is one of my favourite FPS games out there. Granted it's not easy to get into, particularly aliens are a little tricky, but once you do it's tons of fun.

Good thing this sale is about to end, I've already bought a few things (though all old and cheap) and I'm starting to consider buying more. Don't know how long I can be strong.

I sell all my cards on the steam market and I just now bought a cheap background for my profile. Made almost 3 euros off that shit at least, I really don't care about cards and badges tbh. Might buy or hold on to some summer cards and then sell them when prices go up, which they inevitably will once summer sales end.

once i actually fully noticed to how hollywood and video games try to create epic music by adding chanting and fake language chorus, as soon as i hear that type of music it turns me completely off and the word cheesy comes to mind

Because speaking English in a world of fantasy with elves and dwarves and shit makes sense right? For more realism, the whole game should be in made up language.

You wouldn't watch Star Trek or Star Wars if everyone they met didn't understand each other. Some sacrifices are made for playability. His point about cheesy themes is perfectly valid where as expecting every fantasy game to be in high elven is a little less realistic.

I'm sure there are hardcore Kilingon fans who would love to play STO in full Klingon mode. But no one knows what the hell they are saying.

However in most fantasy worlds, there is a common language, generally called "Common" Much the way English is the business language. It is assumed by most people with a thread of imagination and logic that most of what you are reading and hearing is in the common language.

Although i guess if you had a actual imagination and were conversing with an elf, you could just pretend that your speaking Elvish. But i guess your not capable of imagination.
