COH: Europe In Ruins

Me and DasGuntLord (no relation  :P) were trying to get a game going, but the downloader kept saying battle not found and trying to download it manually didn't work either...

Note: both of us uploaded the battle so it shouldn't just be a problem with one of us.

Yes.  It was a dammed shame.

If you try to extract manually you get this message:

"Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/foxtrot7/public_html/cp/includes/phil_scar+ucs.php on line 3777"

Both of us have tried setting up the battle, using Firefox and IE.  None of that seems to be the problem, so we have to conclude it's something server-side.  PLEASE HALP US DEVS!!!

EDIT: Also cannot commission a new company.  Related?

This is serious guys! I know we are all waiting for 1.7, but some of us wanna play now!!

Also, I can't even open the EiR launcher now!  Looks like it cannot connect. Error: 1 Error Code: 10060. 

The new company problem should be fixed by now.

As for the battle, hmm, did you try recreating the battle?

Just made it again.  Battle 304.  Me allied, DasFubar axis defending.

the launcher still gives me the same error and error code (which I presume is a completely different problem altogether anyway), so I tried to download the files manually.  this is the error message I get:

Yes the launcher is broken since the server moved and it probably didn't get reconfigured yet.

(Which is why company creation was broken aswwell.)

Hopefully fldash will take notice and fix asap :).

Try it =P I've been playing around with it a couple weeks ago and changed some shit. Havn't had time to test (wasn't planning on releasing it).

The .exe file is not supported by the type of file you are referring to.

Oh, didn't see that you responded. That's a very ... weird error, but I don't feel like trying to figure it out. New version at the same link.

PS.
The Microsoft error message for that error doesn't make much sense in english either =P

Operation not supported.
    The attempted operation is not supported for the type of object referenced. Usually this occurs when a socket descriptor to a socket that cannot support this operation is trying to accept a connection on a datagram socket.

In other words, "we don't know whats causing this error and like to give the impression we (microsoft) do."

New one works, but battle downloads still don't.  Like I said, completely seperate problems.
