Steam is not a problem, just install it in your steam coh folder

you have to install it in your vcoh directory

Yes, it calls you a dumbass for not following the instructions and installing the mod in a folder other than in your CompanyofHeroes/ Folder

If your attempting to be a ambassador for EIRR by helping new people, learn some people skills before you try again.

Ill start off the lesson, no matter how stupid the question is, or there inability to get it the first time, be pleasant. You should of already knew this when finding a job and being trained by experienced personal. Sometimes trainees cant get it right there first time, you dont go and start insulting them or they will leave.

As much as this thread has run it's course (and beyond!). I think that if an obvious joke about how someone managed to mess up the install is something so offensive to someone that they decide not to play, it's probably best that way.

Just think for a second how that person would fit into the EIRR community. And if you don't know WTF I mean, lets just say the community isn't the type to cater to people with a thin skin! (or dumb asses heh heh...)

Also I'm guessing Phil put that in, and Phil = awesomesauce, so it should stay.

Ok now back to the guy's original issue. Where exactly do you install it? So I have CoH, CoH:OF and CoH: ToV. Its all instaled in D:\Games\Company of Heroes\Company of Heroes in that last folder are all the .dll's and .exe's and all the expansions installed into one directory by default. Also its a different language version (dont tell me, I hate the localization myself).

Any of that matter? Because it still calls me dumbass (which happens a lot so no offense taken)

mine is installed to D:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes.  It will put itself in a folder from there.  Make sure you run it as an adminstrator, it gets real cranky about that.

If that doesn't help, I'm sorry.  It's been quite some time since I've installed EIR so I'm a little fuzzy on the details and hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come around and help soon.
