It shows 2 pop in launcher while it is 4 pop ingame so you end up having 27 pop callins.


well off point they are really weak and die mostly to a single mgburst

I have noidea really,
they dont seem to give an arua and cost 4 pop with the exeption of what i saw is having more Seeing range, they die like flyes so if i were you i would stick with the normal officer that can Run into and out of mg fire and drop smoke like crasy.

The command squad is supposed to replace the US officer. US officer is still in launcher but im not sure if he still works.

Basically he does the same job but the abilities and HP are divided between 2 men so they cant be rambo officers.

I have yet to try them, but if it's exactly like the US Officer except his stats spread evenly (half) to the two guys.... and it costs 4 POP, why should I take him?  Do they both have heroic armor and/or criticals?  Do they both have SMGs?  If not, i cannot justify using him for him being practically as expensive as a rifle squad for 4 pop.  Now if they are just weaker and the squad was only 2 pop, I can understand that but raising the pop value of him isn't the way to go if you want to encourage people to use him with infantry unless he can stand on his own (with good armor/guns for high pop) or have him primarily supporting troops (being low pop so you can field enough infantry with him).

I see a problem with 4 POP in a 25 pop call in:
3 Rangers = 18 POP
1 Officer = 4 Pop (22 POP)

How the heck can you get anything else in there?  Now compare it to my all around good blitz start:

5 Grenadiers = 25 pop (2 LMGs, 3 Shreks)

With elite armor and 'numbers', that officer ends up crippling you by counting as a full squad practically in pop usage, but apparently the officer (and I mean command squad) isn't meant to be a rambo guy so I'm assuming he's unable to fight effectively himself, which leaves the allied player taking him grossly outnumbered or underequipped against enemy callins.

the US officer still works. The command squad is there as a possible replacement but the regular officer is kept in.

If the Hp and abilities are split between the two then how are they better than just one officer?

But erring veterancy was the one reason why I like the Officer an Jumbo, because it's so freakig hard to do and it makes it fun that way. Besides, I thought you could counter an American officer using Tanks or more infantry -_-
