I'm new to this mod but been playing COH for many years so any help and tips with this game would be good and training games would be good if anyone can help.
I usually play mainly airborne or infantry if that helps and mainly offensive

UK/ London time zone I'm usually available most evenings 18:00 to late

 I would also like to apologise for the problem I had in the games I tried to play before for some reason every time I tried to log in my account it was busy or units wouldn't load in but hopefully all my problems are resolved now.

There is a steep learning curve and some of the community members are assholes, i just hope you have fun in this mod.

hi newbie welcome to Europe IN Ruins  Kiss

demons builds seems to be not bad for the beginning, but make sure startcallin(ur first callin) should have 25 population or 24 or 23, all other callins should have at least 7 to 13 population. U will see why.

MAKE SURE that u watch EVERY replay of ur games

LOOK what worked good with ur comp what not and

NEVER build the same company again if u noticed that it sucked balls

TRY to get with coh as much micro skill as possible and

NEVER waste units on the battlefield (lol)

thanks for the links that's a lot of help as I've been struggling to set up my company before I've ever played a game Sad

and I've talked to some of the community and they seem helpful and some not so and I guessed I'm going to take a battering at first but that's the way it works i guess and thanks for the help

from personal experience dont play with Puddin if you want to have a 'fun' game, I dont hate the guy but the guy hates any one who doesnt come to satisfy his 'feelings'.

The warmap is like Dukenukem Forever.

No one thinks it will ever be released, then several years after everyone has given up the little hope they have it gets released from out of nowhere. And then it turns out it sucks.

Good job I'm good with micro in regular coh Wink and yeah I guessed wasting units is a bad idea as you don't get them back, so ill be careful.

Also I will watch my replay and ill start changing my company after a few games and see what works for me but I'm usually more of an infantry person but I don't think ill be able to play the same in this mod as I cant waste em by charging em up the map.

how do allied tanks stand up to axis armour in this mod are they the same as in regular coh

riflemen still lethal with bars, grenades and stickies 

how do rangers fair as well and  airborne

first most units are effected by doctrine buffs, that means a perhsing/m10/m18... is with hvap better then normal( 10 percent more damage ...)

how the armour behave against axis tanks? except few exceptions they do pretty the same as in vcoh. u fight a tiger not alone with one m10. NEVER. As allied player u search for the combo of mostly stickys/m10/atg to finish off heavy german armour.

riflemen with bars and its suppression are very effective in a lot of situations and are very well to combinate with smoke+flamers or just flamers.

Apart from what he said about HVAP, he's got it summed up pretty well - HVAP is a bit more complicated than simply 10% more damage.

Don't give Riflemen all three upgrades at once, specialise them. BAR's for full on AI duty, grenades for a cheap assault unit and Stickies to deter (Read: NOT hunt, DETER) enemy vehicles.

Rangers and Airborne are good but you have to realise what they can and cannot do. Thompson Rangers are very good AI, but are quite expensive and require either suppression or smoke to work to their best without loosing half the squad to kill one enemy. Bazooka Rangers will tear up LV's but can only scratch tanks if you know how to flank or distract. Airborne are brilliant AT but suck arse against infantry. All elite infantry works best with some form of healing.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.
