Would it be possible to just add Less pen when the bulldozer is down?
Same effect as giving it churchill armour. With churchill armour actually being geared already for the situation. |

Dude what? how would it be same as giving it Churchill armor? It would be giving the player the ability to chose between a slow somewhat armored croc or the normal shit sherman. |

No one said they were going to remove the speed debuff or the heavy crush when the dozer was down. Which means, it would give the same effect, with churchill armour already geared for the situation. Especially since its quite resistant to shreks. |

Having it up would mean it would have normal speed and armor but when it would be put down it would be slowed down, have heavy crush (i know it already gives that) and be more resistant to penetration/ less received damadge.

Look at the SE ist before you go all oh noes about the armor/inf ami croc. That's where the doctrine buffed armor croc should be. And it can't even hurt light vehicles.
As a caveat, the IST can only kill light vehicles stupid enough to stay within it's extremely short range. Most Allied LVs have better speed and range than an IST. In turn technically Sherman Crocs can damage PE HTs albeit taking a lot longer to kill one compared to an IST. Still not sure why Dark has issues over Iceland's suggestion. Dark's suggestion gives Crocs better armor simply by buying the dozer a la skirts on Axis tanks and frankly the dozer itself would be rarely used given the nerfs to speed and manuverability. Meanwhile Iceland's suggestion would require a sacrifice on the user's part in order to gain a tactical advantage similar to IST lockdown. |

When I made that post I assumed you knew I meant churchill armour when the dozer was down. But its my fault for not making that clear. And so, churchill armour is far better suited for the anti inf/anti support roll, due to it lowing penetration chances from paks and shrecks greatly, yet vehicles like the panther,tiger, p4, and marder only loose a small bit of penetration against it. Of course dozer price would need a bit of a increase though. |
