I will explain  some things here.

1. current brits lack any real ability to escape danger. Rangers/ab have fire up PE infantry can purchase sprint, blitz has sprint aura on a quick cooldown.  these abilities while some may not entirely break suppression can still aid in evading enemies and artillery barrages.

The brits have 1 sprint and that is currently the Bottom T4 for RE which i think is on 190s+ cooldown. On top of this the only reason you pick the bottom t4 RE is specifically for the sprint aura.

2. i believe we overnurfed the brit officers way too much. first we started by screwing with the pop of the unit, then the squad sizes.
Then we changed the Hp, then we changed the auras and now we are stuck with a expensive toy.

Brits require the officer to be pop efficient and to hold their own. i realize the damage and accuracy was buffed on the enfields, but this does not compensate for a permanent officer buff for cool down and accuracy.

As far as i know there has been no increase to their defensive ability Since the captain is useless and 90% of the time people bring the captain for the FOO artillery.  before you would not see a brit player without a CPT in the sector for the buffs. he even healed the squad very slowly over time _edit cpt aura still heals_

3. Brits currently are broken entirely.
1. A fair portion of the British doctrines either don't work correctly or are haven't been adjusted.
We can see the bottom t4 for RE( Brens fire on the move) but its almost purely cosmetic since brens have complete toss accuracy on the move.

2. RCA Top t4 rifle training actually gives you worse enfields with longer range.(10 damage instead of 12)
Again with the officer nerf scoped enfields are not able to fight, this in conjunction with the Top t4(bad enfields) leaves you worse off.

3. RE has only 1 tree that is usable and the black prince doesn't even work with it. or work at all infact.
4. Commandos are under powered as a doctrine all their old buffs buffed silly things like jeep speed or officer staying power which is now useless because the commando officer has sprint YAY, on a 190s+ cooldown...

( could i get the details of what hulldown provides?

Commonwealth
- Lit-Up Accuracy buff removed, Sight Area Increased, Price decreased from 20 > 10 Mu.
- Scoped Enfield damage dropped from 20 > 15
- Riflegrenade range dropped back down to 35, doctrines that increase RG damage dropped from +20% > +10%

Heroic Charge - using it now makes your units take 20% extra received accuracy.

Commonwealth
- Commandos Sabotage ability  given a 5 second delay, with a 10 second cooldown.

As a massive Brit fanboy I feel since all the patches I find them far less enjoyable:

RE doesn't really work anymore as there is no synergy since changes to the black prince leaving large amount of the chruchill based inf support unlocks redundant.

Furthermore, I don't like the changes to the officer system (may just be may opinion) but i find my infantry under performing when compared to vcoh.
On a side note (i heard somewhere changing the cct so it is like current officers which would utterly break the firefly)

Although most of that is just subjective observation and largely just my opinion and felt it would just be worth mentioning that because of these reasons I don't like the way that Brits are going

Have you played with it? It's actually really good.
as a matter of fact. i have played quite a few games.

and irc they have like 0.3 short range accuracy on the move.

which is pitiful considering the gun does 6 damage on top of that.

It's more of a medium and long range weapon. At those ranges it's moving DPS trumps most other weapons stationary DPS, so it's nothing to scoff at. You use it to get close while doing the damage equivalent to one stationary Bren and then stop moving to mop up.

Anyway your forgetting about scatter, sure it might have a lot of shots roll a miss, but those shots can still hit something. If one 7th of the scatter shots hit your DPS is increased by 33% on the Bren.

it has like 10-15% long range accuracy on moving lol.

So what? I'm talking about DPS? DPS factors in accuracy and despite it's 10% accuracy it's still good. Also you have that 90% worth of scatter shots on top.

You can't just look at one stat.

How good?. compare it to things like bars with 50%+ moving accuracy or Mp44 scopes.
