Haha it's inevitable unfortunately.
We should be happy that the mapping effort is back on fulll speed after the long slow pace progress. Smiley

We're slowly building up a large 'final map' list though, then we can at least get a mappack for those and have the guarantee that they won't be updated anymore  Cheesy.

At least they won't be updated until you change the way sectors work again =p

I tried to send out the territory image since for opinions first, I personally am tired of sending out updates, especially with little change. Frankly I want this map finalize so I can move on to the next and get all conversions done so I can get back to work fully on Henschel Field, I hope I have the hang of this new sectoring, and I'm post overhead shots before updates in the future.

I may get the original Hurtgen Storm with full weather options, but first I want to know which if any other maps I should convert (of mine), and I need to look into some info on the .options file, as well as day night detection for flares.

TEXAS: No worries.  I just like to be able to provide users a nice way to download all the maps that are 'preferred' for EIR play.

I have been having problems with original Hurtgen, and wanted to catch up some on Henschel Field, but now I am about ready to convert another map:

I have two canidates "Industrial Complex" and "Supply Lines"

Industrial complex would probably be a 2 v 2 not much work (beyond territories) would need to be done to prepare it check out some screenshots:

http://companyofheroes.filefront.com/screenshots/File/81866/1

Supply Lines (name needs to be changed) is a map that failed as a coded map but was a very nice looking map, I need to overhaul some of the textures, and add in a few more splats. This would be a 3 v 3 map. Screenshots don't realy show off the map all that well, there are plenty of great areas not shown, but its a lot of map to cover:

http://companyofheroes.filefront.com/screenshots/File/82544/1

each link will send you to the first shot, which is the over head map (ignore the current territories), you can click next to view all shots. note: 1 / 5 is the load screen

If possible I'd like to see Hurtgen Snow with milder snow, somewhat like what industrial heartland uses:

Right now the snow's a little too dominant imho, gets a little annoying.

In addition, please have its mapname fixed, "Hurtgen Snow (6)", not 6p_Hurtgen Snow.
(The last is for .sga file names only)

I will try to get Hurtgen Snow it fix today, I would realy like to have it finalized, so any other changes needed?

also what is the correct "preview images", I noticed that fldash mentioned Industrial Complex didn't have one (and name but I know how to fix that).

I have (what I hope to be) the finalized version of Hurtgen Snow, I belive everything is good on it, Final changes include an options file, fixed issued with bunkers on the hill, and name fixed.

Options File will give the option of 1) No Snow      (no falling snow)
                                              2) Light Snow
                                              3) Heavy Snow (orignal)
comments in game will also tell you the order since all names said "Heavy Rain" (couldn't fix that)
