Gaining AP/RP is global. That is: all of your companies will show the AP/RP gain. It also means if you spend it on one, you have less on all.

I don't really see it being much of an asset to use multiple companies/sectors.

I have different levels of AP and RP on my ValexandesWM and my Valexandes infantry account.

If not, you are not reading all the posts. There has been posts daily that people are showing AP/RP on all of their accounts.

Yes that is correct.

But AP/RP gain doesnt happen to all accounts if one battle happens.  Which is what it sounds like when you say:
