i cant make maps, and im not about to try. but i had an idea, why not make a map that has a city or some place of importnace in the middle, and have the defencing team spawn in its centre and and the attacking teams from multipul edges of the map, i think that would be pretty cool...

I don't think you can have one team spawn in the center of the map though, but city maps in general are fun aye.

Instead we could have one side have a city part though, with the attackers spawning outside.

i tried to make a surrounded map and found out that u can have one team spawn in the middle and the other team spawn along edges..i will post screenies for proof...one problem tho..i cant map very good so it turned out to be a weird map...allies start out with 500 jeeps 50 tank destroyers..and axis start out with 50 flak guns...lol its fun to play

well if you can, they would be good for city attacks on the battle map.

Perhaps you could have one team's "map entry point" placed at the entrance to a large building or underground bunker (a la V-2 mission from vCOH SP campaign).

you could definetly do it, would be a interesting option for a 4 on 4 map.. 4 spawns in the city in the center and 2 on each side of the map ...

spawn camping in the center could become a problem but thats the point of hte map right.

some maps you can't help but be in their spawns, ie push them back to it.  Its not like you start out IN the spawn ... but ya

(sorry akrand you got mad at me for bombing you on highway 54 in the spawn area, i understood your message as it was agreed not to CAMP the spawns, but camping more refers to starting out with large defensive forces standing there as you come on the map, rather then pushing you back to the spawn and continuing to inflict damage as you shoot out of it...   we had that happen on siene earlier and its a good reason not to play those types of maps at times)..

Sounds like it'd be a good map, a V2 Map recreation would be excellent as well.

the problem with the V2 map is that there are WAY too many chokepoints on there. a player could just fortify a bit of the map with multiple layers of TTs and sandbags, and then put AT weaponry plus a coupple of MG, and win every time.
