I propose making a special brit unit devoted to nothing but mine clearing.. a 1 man squad with mine detector for 100 manpower and 10 munitions

this unit would be maybe as durable as a captain and have a decent suppression resistance to clear mines during battle

whata re your thoughts?

For Christ's Sake, there are craters where the mines fall.
Unless your blind or worse, It's counterable by anything, including manuevering.

lol I sure didn't see any craters, im sorta aiming the thread towards giving brits a cheap mine detector instead of talking about the ability

I am sorry, but this is a purly perspective complaint.

When an enemy runs into M1 carbines on a riflemen squad and gets chewed to death but doesn't know whats hitting him its still OP

when an enemy runs into raid assault and again is chewed to death and doesn't know what's hitting him, its still OP

When On-board repairs gives a user 5 chances to repair the same tank, (field repairs + onboard)  while moving, it is OP in comparison.

--- thats three allied t4s which completely over shadow the ability to have 12 mines on the field ---

There are tons of things that are considered OP by the situation they are represented in.  At least the mine field has tale tail signs its there.  First you see the rockets fall, second they leave a small tiny scorch mark on the ground RIGHT WHERE THE MINE IS..

this ability is useful, but by no means OP.  a 10 munition upgrade nullifies it completely.  An artillery barrage or even mortar or ground shot into the area nullifies it quickly..

most t4s you don't have the option of avoiding, this you do.

I propose making a special WM unit with the dedicated ability to turn off
the enemies abilities....  kinda silly don't you think?

**********  The only concern the devs have with the mine field atm, is that it is potentially TOO griefy.  The mines might take longer to spawn to allow anything IN the area of effect to get out before they pop up.  as its meant to be there BEFORE enemies come in, rather as they are there.. at least in design.  *******

Yes, they do, and in an excellent way, as well.  Plus, the mine plow...the brits aren't without ways to detect and eliminate mines.  I'm against this, sorry.

(By the way, everyone should have recon tommies anyway, they ROCK)

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
