Strange EIR error

im now randomly getting this message

The program or feature \??\D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Companyofheroesrelaunch\autoupdater.exe cannot start or run due to an incompatability with 64-bit versions of windows. please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit version is availiable.

Any ideas ?

My first idea was to go ask a vendor for a 65-bit windows Wink

Other than that, no, haven't seen that error before.

Got the same error, fixed it by putting it on compatability mode to windows 7 and booting as admin,it then gave you a diffrent error, taking it off again and then it would start as usual.
