My launcher is constantly getting stuck on "Retrieving Company..." I can not log into any of my companies.

I ain't sure what is causing it but nothing seems to work on it. Ontop of it the launcher lags massively for me D:

20 minutes, Still retrieving my company! Grin

Mine works no problem at all, so it must be something on your end.
Sorry I can't be anymore help than that, but it confirms everything is good with the launcher.

this is not a bug.

take a guess on which forum board you should post topics like this.
or look around in that correct forum board, there might have been people with the same issue...

Leo probably could have been a little less sarcastic.......

I suggest you post in the the technical support thread: http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?board=8.0

I would also do a search there to see if this situation has happened before / possible fix

Aye I'm using Avast Anti virus. I did create a exception for the EIRLauncher directory so that it won't check it, though it still doesn't work but gets stuck in retrieving company

thats weird cos me and some other who used avast had same problem and got it fixed by an exception for the launcher

u sure ur exception is correctly set up? try to deaktivate avast for some minutes and start the launcher

Aye it appears to be caused by Avast. I disabled the whole scanning system (every single one of them) and then the launcher started to work properly. I'll try to find which one of the scanners in Avast is causing it.

I found what is causing it

It is the Web Browser protector that is monitoring HTTP movement. Once I disabled it the launcher works properly again.

The problem is, I don't know why it doesn't make it a exception with EIRRLauncher Directory even if it is added to the Exception list.
