Launch Smoke Canisters on Shermans have been useless when I have tried them, I wonder how much harder is it to hit the sherman?

I never used them to begin with, but lately I've been finding you have to stand in the smoke to receive any benefit, when I had thought since the inception of CoH it was any projectile passing through it. So I just don't know anymore.

I suppose it is possible that the it's the low scatter on the weapons hitting you? but smoke is supposed to give a 0.25% accuracy modifier

It works but its only really effective in tank to tank combat and against hand-held infantry weapons AFAIK.

You can use the shermans smoke to lay cover for your infantry

I think you have to stand in the smoke, but in doesn't help anyway, I tried it again yesterday and every shot still got a direct hit. This was from a P4, a Panther and a Puma. I hade 2 tanks with smoke on and every shot still got direct hit.

EIRRMod told me that it is a 0.50% accuracy modifier but I don't think that can be true.

Ya I've found the smoke more as a decoration than as a useful thing...its only useful for Armored Doctorine's infantry because they don't get smoke nades for riflemen. Or your brit allies etc

I'd say it needs a buff...the smoke thing...30 mun 2 uses...Decrease the price and uses then it'll be fairly useful Leftover buy thing

How will decrease the price make it a more usefull thing?

But yea, it needs a buff or at least someone should check the code what's written there.

its not really effective so you buff it a bit, make it have more uses beause 30 mu for 2 is not fun.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
