as i said in our two testing runs last night, the sectors are perfect, infact they allow for great usage of mcp for both the attacker and defender, BUT your use of the hedges limits the maps ideal usage.

attacking from both sides is not equal, the one with the L shaped hedge for instance is horrible for defenders mostly, while the other side offers a much more balanced defense/attack.

The L shape is bad because it splits the defenders on either side of the map completely  unless the hedge is removed, due to no openings except one between the sides.   Meaning that the attackers can simply ignore one side of the map and BOTH push into 1 defender.  I guess im just not a fan of large hedge rows to control direction, would rather see a stone fence that allows infantry to shoot over but still not bypass unless it is likewise removed.

otherwise the sector layout is ok... imo

Those got fixed last night Salan, so the map is ready to hit the shelves as a beta. Get out and play it!

Looking good, once you get it fully splatted & splines, I bet it'll become a great map.

A minor detail, the statue behind the church really shouldn't be there... they didn't hide their statues behind buildings... usually it'd be in front of the church or on a town square, right now it just doesn't make any sense... Wink

Good map, and very good name. Needs some details though. And the hay cover on the fields is borked.

Oh those f*ing hedgrow´s...

Woud be great if there woud be less OR if they where adjusted to the rad´s and so on like in abeville, so they dont hinder your movement forward, only to the sides. Also gives the axis advantage with all there heavy crush stuff.

Hedges are fine. The map is rather big for a 2v2 and leaves enough room to maneuver.
