This unit is OP...   Axis Amour other than super tanks (King, Tiger, Jag) have a tuff time able to put down the jumbo should have more HP not able to repel 50mm, MarIII, PAK, please change from pershing armour type. should have panther type

What do you think....  maybe change the name to an EASY 8 Sherman..

The Jumbo is far from OP. If it had Anti-Tank capabilities to match its Anti-Infantry abilities, then yes, I might agree, but as of now it can only efficiently kill infantry, and can take on medium tanks only with the Tank Reapers T4 bonus. It's a good unit, but versus anything above a Panzer IV it is outmatched.

Col. To be fair, The Allies have to deal with things worse then Jumbos on a gamely basis (KT's, Jadgs, Tigers, Panthers) so us having to deal with these isn't really that bad, specially since have better AT weapons for taking them out ^^

the jumbo has free skirt (which works wonderfully against schreck) and a free mg. The closest thing the axis have is the panther which is more expensive to begin with and still have to be buy the skirt and mg and a more expensive repair.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

The repair ability shouldn't cost 50 Munitions actually, I don't know why it does.

the main reason why the jumbo is freaking OP is because the pak38 and 50mm HT is fucking broken against its armortype (even the ambush first strike shots continuously bounce)

other than the AT57mm which can cut through tigers and panthers like a hot knife through butter (thx2ap rounds)

i already opened a thread about it long time ago http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=18270.0

but it was kind of ignored

Ignored because your points were invalid, seeing as the Jumbo is only an Anti-Infantry tank along the lines of a Churchill (sort of), not the destroyer of worlds. Any armor above a Panzer IV can kill it in normal combat.

any armor above a P4 is much more expensive too  Roll Eyes and not invulnerable to ATGs and handheld AT like the jumbo is

Moved to balance.

Bigdick, stop exaggerating. If you're going to argue balance, do it properly.

Jumbo only kills infantry and light vehicles, sure, you can get a few shots on a P4 and you can go up against an unskirted P4, but i wouldn't suggest fighting against a skirted P4. I agree repair kit should probably go up to 60, but not much more. And it's a T3 unlock, so I think the free mg is fine.

TBH paks do decent enough damage vs them, you just cant expect a single pak to scare it away though. Use other tanks or shrecks on it. And make sure you attack from the SIDES. That's the biggest mistake I see people making, is attacking from the front.

The problem is it has Panther_skirts. Axis AT is not designed to penetrate Panther armour, which is why they bounce so much. And the skirts means that Shrecks actually do much less than they should. I pthought they were fine when they had Pershing armour, but ah well.

we can't ever agree on if doctrine unlock should be more cost effective than the non-doctrine units....

no, its dual purpose. jumbo has one purpose, anti infantry, so it gets the tools it needs for that. that's the way i see it. i guess it's harder to judge since it's such a unique unit.

im not sure if that's sarcasm. if they aren't why bother unlocking them? why bother picking a doctrine at all? that's all off topic though.
