BSOD I assume you are reffering to (Blue Screen of Death). That means that the computer noticed that something was not functioning properly and shut-down to prevent dammage. It could be the tower getting over heated, faulty memory, or a virus/trojan of somesort (other possibilities exist). Perhaps check the temp of the case, run a virus scan, and upload newest drivers for stuff (or if you did that recently try rolling back and downloading fresh).
This is just a brief and basic idea on what may be wrong, probably FL/U/Phil/someonewithmorecomputerknowledgethenme may know more.

I might be able to help, please do the following. To post the mini dump do this. Right click on my computer, click search and type this %SystemRoot%\Minidump Open the folder that appears, and copy and zip up the contents of the mini dump, and of when the error occured, use the date of the mini dump to remember when it happened. I will look into it for you.

Bugcheck Analysis
Probably caused by : NVTcp.sys ( NVTcp+41b6 )
Ok i need you to post your full cpu specifications, and the make and model number of your motherboard and i can provide you with a solution. Please also post the name of your firewall and anti virus solution. If my theories are correct you are using a Nvidia Nforce motherboard, and possibly a Nvidia Firewall, all old versions.

Yeah My new MoBo has the Nvidia firewall.... it bitches at me every time I try to open my torrent program. It also has an annoying way of wasting system resources every once in a while while i'm surfing the interwebs. Problem is it is built into the hardware's bios and i'm too lazy to go in and see if I can disable it.

Das Noob, that is a possible solution i believe to the OP's problem, although he can also just update the Nforce MB drivers etc and that will fix his issue.

Did you used to have the Nvidia Firewall or Nforce motherboard and didn't correctly uninstall all drivers ? Because deinstalling NAM, or the other old drivers should fix the problem.

hmmm have new drivers for video card and motherboard something new came up
about 50-70% of the time my pc will not boot up. The cpu fan keeps turning to a high rpm then to a very low rpms.
Then I get a error that says "in a female voice" VDA system failure.
There is nothing on my LCD- no bios, windows os or anything. Have any idea what could have happen ?

Haha, I once had a simular issue with my PC a few years back actually, sometimes it just didn't start, screen remained black and there was a female voice saying some latin sentance. (Something like 'Agipi Capum Cela'). It just kept on going and going. Only restarting multiple times eventually got my computer started. They never found out what the issue was, I just bought a new motherboard and the problem was gone . I didn't even know PCs can produce sound like that without even being fully started . First time I heard it, it scared the shit out of me rofl.

His Asus mobo is an nForce4 motherboard that also uses the nVidia gigabit LAN controller with built in firewall. From the newegg description: "The back panel sports dual Gigabit Ethernet ports courtesy of state-of-the-art Marvell controllers in combination with NVIDIA's built in Gigabit MAC with NV Firewall and ActiveArmor intrusion detection features." Disabling the NV firewall (perhaps in BIOS?) should fix if that was the original cause of the BSOD.
