Um...yes? Is it supposed to be random bits of code and directories?

That you could access the server the update files are hosted on is all...

Well, for now, unless you want to try re-downloading the whole modification again (which I doubt). The developer is on Australia time so he maybe able to help you around 10EST tonight...

Would re downloading the whole thing alleviate the problem? Because if so I may as well do that now. If I've learned anything from trouble shooting for my computer the most painful solution is usually the only one.

I can't promise it would fix the issue, but it's the only thing I know to try at this point.

Well, I'll re-download it while I wait I guess. Oh, and you're filefront links are broken by the way.

Try this, open your Antivirus program, and make sure that the CoH folder is an exception to things. If you use AVtg go to your interface, go to resident shield, and select path, and make the path to your CoH folder. this was happening to me, I did this, and now it works fine.

This would be relevant IF I didn't try to start it without any form of anti-virus being activated. I just searched for the file on the site.

It doesn't mean anything. When it ask to put the file in quaranteen it is already there. You need to go there and delete it from quaranteen then add coh to resident shield.

FYI, I had no AV running at the time either, but it was still stopping it from working properly.
