Just started out making my first map, just got the vague layout and very crude heightmap done so far. Probably going to be a 3v3 map, may change the amonut of players later.

The groves of trees will be fairly thick forest, the single trees will be slightly more open. The manor on the right will get some hedges or something to cut LOS and stuff a bit. The footbridge on the far left will be infantry only, the space between footbridges in the center will be fordable. The large bridges will be undestroyable.

Looks like a good start, like Leophone said, rivers and bridges make for problematic gameplay in EIR so they're best avoided. Although if you really like to have a river somewhere, just make sure its fordable everywhere.
