wouldn't limiting the buff by the CCT be more reasonable ?

That extra 2 pop makes all the difference when it comes to field presence prior to 40 pop limit.

I love how the possibility of being buffed by a CCT ruins things for american players...

Because a 45 range IST gun with 30% reload reduction from a Vet 2 CCT for 10 pop makes sense?  Thing moves at 6+ speed and has phase armor too.  Also Marines don't get buffs from Capts and LTs because they are factionally US but thankfully because it would be retarded to fight LT/Capt buffed marines.

The gun should be 40 range max w/ whatever buffs or if no buffs are applicable.  Any longer and you start running into this Pershing/Tiger silliness we are running into on a much cheaper platform.

Actually, marines get half the buff from captains and lui's, just not the vet 2 ones as far as I can tell... Heroic charge also works with marines.

Yes, it is retarded, if the vet 2 buff worked it would be... justin beiber.

I'm pretty sure this just means you agree with me. Reward units shouldn't need to be buffed by a CCT to be effective, and their balance shouldn't hinge around having a unit that only one faction in a set of two gets. I don't know how to code in a tank being exempt from CCT buffs, but all reward units should be.

I beg to differ, if a brit player is going to spend the extra 2 pop 200mp and 65 fu then it should give him a slight edge in combat.

The cct is a "non" compulsory support unit essentially their to augment armors lackluster effectiveness.

After all eir is a pop game and that 2 pop off set can often be brought undone by more pop efficient callins.

ill agree its come along way from the 8pop sink it was in Vcoh.
But removing crush from it greatly slows the rate at which it gains vet and thus its usefulness is relegated to blocking rushing tanks, or bait for FF.

MAKE OFFICERS 3 POP FFS, AND SUPPORT POOL NOT INF POOL FFS

Still stands, for 2 pop you get massive buffs and a competent damage sink, on top of being a heavy scout unit if you get the commander.

Ye, was super popular against panthers back in 2010-11, get 2 CCTs, a firefly and just nuke the crap out of them.

nobody was being serious when giving CCTs back crush, super bad idea as i still have nightmares about losing zreck storms to those things.

Also, sence you guys nerfed the vet 2 Top T2 TH doc buff scoutcar having 70 sight, why didnt you guys do the same with having 2 vet 3 CCTs?

ray and i did have a game of cct's i think i was either using them for sprint aura or for smoke but anywho we ended up with like infinite amount.

I did that more than once against multiple different high vet units, I don't remember what else I killed doing that but I know we killed Dnicee's Maus with it. Its like blocking with a jeep...A jeep thats 1 pop less and a shit ton more survivable.

so im a little confused now all pgrens get sprint at vet 1?. seems kinda silly to have such a strong baseline infantry receive sprint at vet 1 for free.

obviously we dont see rifleman with fireup and vet 1.
