this map is currently in production and i will be posting screens of it as progress goes alone, this was after two hours... the centre railroad too forever to completely balance the height out evenly.  The goal of this map, is to have a city situated around the centre of the map. with buildings on both sides of the railroad. and a smaller rural town area around the Pond area. This map will be heavily focousing on teamwork between the players to take the town in the middle, while the town in middle will be important to control, the flanks are also important on this map becuase i will be making the flanks pretty great to have. encouraging good teamwork/gameplay.

dont listen to the trolls, when you start with mapping it always takes a bit longer since u still need to learn everything.

I see u r making small detailed spots already but there is not really a big overview of the map yet. do the rough stuff first.

i prefer heightmap then splines... more detail is avaliable. Yea im making the highlights of the map first then building around them, yes ive done research around the city and its pretty accurate. Lmao not my first map byfar.. just i dont put alot of attention into it in the two hours i prolly spent, like.... half an hour of actual work into it. Trust me, it will be better then paris. since im really picky when it comes to perfection. once the main parts are done, i will put an incedible amount of detail into it. finished product will be amazing.
