In four days i will be releasing a map, a 3v3, i will not be releasing any photos or anything untill its entirly complete.

The style of the map is

After exting omaha and entering the outskirts of the city of caen. a combination of the famrs and fields of untouched normandy and the batterd and destoryed city of caen. 

Vote is up for what TOD i should use. Now im trying to make it as historically accurate as possible. If i use nightime, caen will be more intact becuase the bombings wouldnt have occurd yet, but if i pick daytime, caen will be more destoryed becuase the bombings will have occurd the night before

Not meaning to be nit-picking here (ok, just a little bit  Smiley), but Caen and Omaha Beach are pretty much on completely opposite sides of each other (Caen far east, Omaha (nearly) far west) A more appropriate beach would be either the Sword or Juno Beaches, historically speaking of course(allthough I remember someone saying realism had nothing to do with this mod Shocked)

Anyways, looking forward to seeing how the map ends up Wink

why you not releasing any screen shots for, its not like we havent seen any maps featuring farms and fields with a town in the middle  Cheesy i mean seriously, thats like every successful eir map in history described there

I know the beach is only a technicality, and I know the Russians didn't get to take many beaches but maybe when you make the map description you can use Sword, Juno, or Gold. Mkay?


Caen, daytime. Partially destroyed buildings and rubble in the streets.

Carpiquet Airfield outbuildings on 1 side. BAM, map type. wide open side with Urban requirement
