What does it do? I buy it only because I can only have 12 PzGren squads.

Gives a Reduced Received suppression modifier. Currently he also increase the population of the squad by 1 but thats probably going to get fixed. The Upgrade will probably also see itself back on Assault grens and Tank busters. So yeah Sprint+Veteran sgt. = not getting raped by MG spam

id say put him on squads that you think will see action, dont put him on your recrewing squads

Well he does work, and he works nicely. But most of the time your G43's shouldn't be charging into suppression. It does however give you a decent amount fo time comparatively in your trying to fight BAR rifles from cover. that way when they pop suppression fire you won't drop right away. He would be the best suited on Assault grens, and they need all the love they can get, for Assault units they get chewed to shit by most everything.
