same as LT pretty much but can drop in with commandos. also gets commando smoke

Incorrect Tym
Commando officer is a Captain and a LT combined in one, though he has no access to heroic charge. He does get commando smoke and medkits with a T2 commando ability, worth every penny if you just want his buffs and could care less about the charge (Vet 2 requirement) or one-use offmap FOO.

how is he a captain and lt in one? he doesn't get sector bonuses i've checked, he gets the LT vet 0 bonuses and thats it.
He's a glider borne LE with commando smoke and no heroic charge and the ability to purchse med kits for an ability. theres no point in vetting them up, they dont kill, dont get a vet 2 bonuses like a normal LT and they seem to die easier.

tbh the only reason I used to use them was due to the fact that they were LT's with arty rather than CPT's with arty.
I guess you pay for the survivability. LT's constantly have to be on the battle front and often die due to scatter in my experiences. Now you have an escape option for the unit. Plus, if he gets a shrek now he can be br00tal.

you dont get him for the survability, you get him so he can drop in with ur commandos rather than walking in and linking up. the smoke is a bonus imo
