I have been fiddling with the map editor and want to contribute to EiR beyond testing and helping balance and finding bugs.

I am going to work on a 4 on 4 map.  The basic concept is simple.   I will place a citish grid in the direct center of the map.

Either the map will be narrow and long ling highway or really square like Hill.  If its narrow and long two enemies will attack from each length end and the defenders will spawn inside the center city..  causing a two front war, ie bastonge?  or square with an enemy on each side of the map.

the problem with this is really the center people are all but insanly out positioned, would need some interesting firelanes for protection.  But it would be a great map for the historical area of bastonge i guess, a dense forest around the outside of the city.

Was thinkign about this, it has to be a long narrow map, if its set for 4 on 4.. 2 on either side of the map, would have to play from fixed positions so that when you play 2 on 2 you have an attacker on either side of the map, due to capturing points it will be essential to do this.

try to make the pnt captured ALMOST even between attackers and defenders so that there isn't a ungodly amount needed to push it either way, hmm lots of ideas, did a ruff sketch, will start mapping soon

but i have a question what size did the highway 54 use in its dimensions anyone know?

I don't know about Highway 54, but here is a link to the map sizes for the relic maps: http://wiki.relicrank.com/index.php?title=Map_Size
