Hey folks, after my massive 8 player monstrosity proved to be too laggy, I used the wonderful stamp tool to transplant half of my previous map into a new map about half as wide designed for 6 players.  I have currently completed about a 1/3 of the map.  However, before I invest more time into it, I need a few good men to test it out to see whether or not the lag is tolerable in multiplayer.  Here's where you come in...

Who? 4-6 testers to start the game and play it for a few minutes (you can quit after 10 minutes so it doesn't report).

What? Feedback on the level of lag and playability.  Ignore balance concerns at the moment, though feel free to speak your mind if you have burning issues.

When? Preferably at least one test by wednesday evening.

Extra Credit! Play a whole match and tell me what you think!  There are temporary sectors on the map in roughly the places I want to put them when I finalize it.

Warning! This map is in the alpha stage.  The hilltop, base, and forest area with splats are all about finished. All of the unsplatted forest is temporary.  I just copy pasted the trees all over the place to try to simulate the level of trees I want for testing purposes.

Sweet!  Thanks for the feedback, guys.  It sounds like "So much trees" did not cause your systems to self-destruct, so I will go ahead with the map.

@Akranadas, if they really do look silly I'll take them out.  I think if they were unselectable (like the opel blitz trucks) it would work a lot better.  They really need to have a parked world object version of every vehicle.

@Thtb, yeah I will see about more green cover.  I have plans for one or more downed gliders in the forest, which should provide some nice green craters/ditches

Dont go overboard on the Wreckage, I say put some bushs and low cover in the forest, Define the Trails a bit more.

We played a 3v3 and suffered no real lag Tongue
