i think we've all given up *waiting* and getting on with our lives but with this i believe we can actually appreciate how much work you've put into this. that said, bloody good job mate.

Here's the way I see it.

Eirrmod is more than likely feeling a little guilty that he made me a promise and has not been able to deliver.
I am bummed out that we don't have a warmap, but I am not disappointed in EiRRmod. He is working hard on it, and obviously it has become much more difficult than he anticipated.
It is easy for us to give him a rough time for not making his deadline, but it would probably be more productive to encourage him in a positive way to complete it.

When I cruise through the forums, I see endless bitching, complaining, and overall criticism of the mod in general. I think most of you criticize because you actually really care and want this mod to reach it's full potential. I think we really need to make an effort to be more positive and let the Dev's know how important this mod is to us.

I would like Eirrmodd to complete the warmap so he can feel the reward of accomplishment for a hard job done well. I do not want him to complete it because he feels guilty. That was never the intention of my motivational package.

Even if he does not finish the warmap; I have no regrets as I helped a man out when he needed it.

Yep, did a heap of work on assigning orders to units on the client side.

Almost finished that bit, which is 1 part of three. The next two are quite easy, but LOTS of code. This means depending on how much time I have in large blocks, I can pump them out quite quickly.

Not giving a date, but you WILL have warmup in April.
It just depends whether it's early or late April hahaha!

Also note, that this will be a purely ALPHA version of the warmap, and many other updates will follow. So if you are underwhelmed by what you see with the 008a release, just know that it's not even close to finish with that release.
