I would love to know how you build your company around snipers. I use infantry, i have 2 snipers 3 or 4 zooks some bars. i have one triage 5 m10s 4 atgs and 3 hmgs, also got some jeeps for sight. I would like to know if there is a better set up using infantry company because if not ill just use lots of bars and 2 howis instead of snipers.

You don't need to build your company around your snipers, you just need to know how to use your snipers. Get 3 snipers and start playing with them constantly. Remember that you don't need to cloak 24/7, in fact it's often better to leave them uncloaked so you can be more mobile and kite. You only need to cloak if someone is rushing you with faster units with no detection like armour.

+1 what people often do is walk around with their snipers cloaked all the time, when its really not needed 90% of the time.  If its cloaked too much its not really doing its job.

Halftracks are always good for those OH SHI- moments when you have the entire enemy team gunning for him. Most people will bring mass bikes/jeeps to go for a sniper and only few will bring light vehicles capable of denting a halftrack. Cloaking doesn't really do much in difficult situations, so you shouldn't be constantly cloaked. You being cloaked will not save you from rushing infantry unless they're far away, but then you might as well uncloak and book it.

Beware of the vampire halftrack. This thing will ruin any snipers day.

I had a nice build with Infantry company with lots of snipers, just cause I had muni left.

But that was with T4 Tank Reaper and Jumbos, and like 3 snipers. We cant unlock those yet so, anyway get QUADS to protect your sniper. They rape bikes.

american hmgs are irrelevant for defending a allied sniper

but fun fact is that axis have better sniper buffs and better non-doctrinal support options (bikes are better than jeeps, vampire ht's are exceptionally good)

american snipers also face less obvious threats (storms, fsj)

I barely even bother with the american hmg in the 1st place. Its kinda a waste tbh...

I wouldn't say irrelevant, they keep infantry at a distance, but it's not completely reliable ofc.

Im not sure what axis infantry that isn't good at distance, that 30 cals keep at distance or prevent from targeting a sniper. Are people using 30" for fending off mp40/medikit volk rushes on their sniper? I can't think of another unit that cannot outshoot or simply rush/ambush the 30", storms and kch ignore the 30", grens and panzergrens outshoot it.

I use grens to outshoot a .30 cal, it's a horrible machine gun.  Get in cover and a vanilla gren squad will spank the .30cal.  Especially when it isn't mean to suppress and any casualty on it demans the gun and the gunner assistants have crappy carbines.

Best protection for a sniper is SMG ranger squad (infantry based) or a quad (suppresses infantry more reliably, cannot be 'demanned', and can tear apart any non-armored LVs like jeeps/motorcycles).
