Right, alot of you have tried and taken on mapping over the past few weeks/months and while some gave up, there were still others who carried on and eventually managed to show some great work when it comes to details, layout, etc.

I believe now is a good time to try a first "joint mapping project". Not officially as a mapping team yet, as imo most of you are not really ready for that, but more as a learning experience.

I can imagine alot of you want to be in on creating, but the idea is that maps are passed along to the others rapidly, meaning that if you receive the map, you would be expected to contribute ASAP.
(Any delay might demotivate the others to even bother later on)

Of course it all depends on the job you'd fill in creating the map.

I will personally be supervising this project and obviously contribute to the map myself and I believe there would be room for 3 - 4 more others to jump on.
I will give priority to those of whom I have seen some WIP/finished map that was of decent quality. (If you are not selected, don't worry, just keep on mapping as if this succeeds there will be many more maps created)

Apply in this thread and state what you enjoy doing/what you are good at, once thats done, we can meet up or make a new thread about the actual map.

Keep in mind this will require dedication, possibly also doing some "jobs" you do not enjoy that much (in case we everyone wants to do just the detailing for instance) and skill.

Applying here,  I enjoy the detailed placement of props, and dictating proper status for them in game. I also enjoy somewhat limited placing of splines and splats. I'd prefer to add props above all, because i am clumsy when it comes to laying out a map properly.

I will try to help. I might not be able to help as much because I have school and baseball.

Anyone willing to do the rough mapping?
(Basic placement of buildings, roads, etc the layout.)

And what map do you guys reckon we should try?
4 player?
6 player?

Rural?
Urban?
Industrial?

I think it's better if we start from scratch with a clear idea on what we want, etc.
