I find it pretty anti depressive that a thing like EIRR still exists

It"s like a room you re-enter after a period of time, and in a way its homely, and you have a history with it

And I think that one of the things we are most ashamed to be visibly grateful of, is random stuff like a game, and a community, this randomly constructed cultural connection we have with something that we may not consciously have decided to develop such a long-standing connection to

and I dont feel ashamed to log into this launcher, and see some names, and they bring some kind of joy, for me to see them.

because, for me, I realize, its been years

I've seen teens turn into adults and seasons move, and its pretty intriguing, and I wonder if anyone who ever fell off even further back from before when I was into EIRR, if they ever looked back and felt some kind of weird ambivalence about it

I see names, they bring up faces, emotions, connections

exactly, i see skaffa, i feel like i am revisiting the first years we would hang on ventrilo, i sift through these posts, and it connects me to periods in my life that i have little other visible history of

i heard and i write "heard" because i "heard" in my head, when you said canalito on steam, by writing it

that thing i believe more than anything you wrote prompted me back to revisit these grounds, the instant connection

"canalito" , capable of teleporting me back to all these moments in eirr where we played and it all was so important and we were all very into it

it seems to me that it makes for more of a history-servicable drama that a community was small, and maybe polarized, and had its cliches

I think you will all look back someday and say "I remember when tank was still alive".
Chances are it may not be that long of a wait.
