well i finally won a game, breaking from a 17 lost streak, but the game was odd, our team destroyed close to 10 shermans, 8 m10s and 3 ranger squads... how cheap is the allies stuff?Huh

very cheap comparing to axis side

Not all doctrines have or will get Offmaps, doctrine units are balanced by their price and are not in general more effective than spending those resources on other units.

So giving people extra units for having fewer games is silly, since everyone maxes out anyway and this just means those who play more are penalized even further (I don't even have 50 games on my PE account, but it does fine, and many people that do terrible have 50+ losses).

So it won't solve the problem.

Just give more benefits towards company building after games, extra PPs, bonus to XP earned, etc.

people who do terrible after 50+ games will always do terrible but with 50+ games they have much more and better stuff in theire company
when a better player on new account comes they can win against him through having more stuff in the company
same with good players and 50+ games...they even more destroy new players than when they would had a new account too
and i do not say the rewards should be better than the PP put into offmaps and ressource advantages
but the rewards should be almost even

you have always the possibility to make your company more fuel heavy or more munitions heavy than getting random basic units to even the PP difference a little bit out

If you reward people for being new and having new companies, that is almost equal to the most advanced companies, whats the point of playing?

Just keep making new companies to grief and smurf and have the same fighting strength as anyone else.

In every other RPG or any sort of a game with a experience system.  Killing low level players with a high level character means you gain almost nothing.  The opposite is true for low level vs high level.

So why not scale PP/xp gain based on the relative difference in company PP between the two teams?

In games that do not encourage open PvP yes.

In games based around PvP this is not true.

UO, DarkFall, EvE, PoTBS, any FPS, etc.

As I said, if you want it to be like WoW, with no reason to encourage doing anything or being better, then sure, that works.

If you want people to attempt to excel, then there need to be penalties.

You can see the ranks, you know what they have, all there needs to be is a higher reward for playing as a noob vs higher level. Not so that you are equal to them that fight, but so you can catch up faster.
