Actually the OF version with snow has not been released, it was just made for my own curiosity  Wink

The light settings are very essential for the impression of the map, i just made a little example with a small farm.

winter light settings

desert light settings

Map is added to the module, however as Stumpy pointed out the name is listed as St_Vith in the module but the downloaded file is st_vith, not sure if this will cause  a problem, can someone verify that it is infact case sensitive?

Re-upload if needed Wink.
I'll add it to the map database

Edit: I just tested, seems to work although in the future upload it with St_Vith Smiley

Tested this out today, map is great,  but too big for a 4p map.  I have made a 6p version of the map and will list it in the map database.

Link updated with 6p version for download.

* mapname needs to be made "Saint Vith (6)"
* Mapdescription needed
* Loading screen needed
* Map preview image needed
* Weather options could be considered (perhaps the option to have it snow slightly?)
* Sector layout system needs to be finetuned, right now it seems like you had it automatically created, imho there's also too mant sectors on the flanks where as there's nothing important there. (Especially the Eastern Flank)
* Too many open areas with no splats/splines/details/cover imho.
* Consider making the buildings damaged

I like the map's concept and gameplay though, hopefully it'll be finalised...

The Territorys are horible.

They hurt.

Territory´s have to be overworked to fit MCP.

Its harder to attack than dday since the enemy can easly win by just capping around.
It needs a center.
Great a boothlneck at the middle by adding a river or 4 territory´s.
Make it a uneven number of territory´s.

Territories need a little work.  Doesn't necessarily need a center or bottleneck.  Just make sure the sectors are even leading up to the middle.

Hmm some of us have played a few games on the map and didnt have any problems with the MCP, but if thats what the community wants Ill rework the territories a bit.

Btw I hate maps with a bottleneck so I will not do that to any map I convert.

May make the starting points one large territory (or 2) and then make it so you have to fight in the middle hard to win.  Probably wont have time to work on it today, so next time I will get to work on it will be next Thursday.

I'm taking over EiR conversion from this point on.
Please play a game or two on this map, it can be a very fun map and I will use all the feedback to further improve it.
