So woohoo EIRRMod! Making me extremely excited for allies. And devs knowing and acknowledging how the community thinks.
Its just how allies are set up at the moment (US in particular) - in that they dont have strong focused units as non-doctrinal.  In my opinion anyway.

agreed. Axis are specialist favored, Allies, especially ami's are generalist.

Allies = Jack of All Trades, Masters of None.
Axis = Has individual units that are great at one thing but not so much at others. (mader, great at, poor ai, panther, 50mm, p4 stubby etc.)

not to say that each side doesn't have units that are good at both but axis have more units that are great at one thing and poor at the other, while allies have units that are good at both but not great (sherman, persh, crom, rangers, etc)

Maybe allies need more focused units and less dual role's, especially since most of the better allies strats use focused units (m18 + gg spam right now, piat + croc, etc)

I'm a combined arms lover personaly but i can tend to have issues vs highly focused strategies (what we call spam) because it overwhelms one thing (your ai or at) and forces your attrition.

The Allies aren't weaker, they just don't have a wide variety of builds.

Outside of the basic support weapons and Rifle BAR + TD spam there isn't a lot too it.

Rangers could use a price decrease, both for themselves and the SMG. They should also get access to a BAR upgrade without SF. This would allow them to be used as a mainline infantry in the Infantry Doc. Infantry doc needs better trees. Why all the cross buffs to buff armor in Infantry?

AB need WORKING abilities, if the SCAR cannot be done right now then just redo the doctrine to not use it. Should be territory control oriented. Give AB something that allows them to hold ground once they drop in.

Armor, again, has retard infantry buffs. If you want to make it Mech infantry you need a reason to run infantry other than for suicide BAR spam.

Yes, giving Rangers BARs would be better balance wise but gameplay wise? It would probably mean less variety since no one would use the Thompsons.

Re introduce Rifle Training. Last I checked, it wasnt named "Triple-BAR-of-doom-and-SF-spam-Company".

Allow rifles to purchase 1x mine for 25 MU.

Ranger + thompson price drops.

A BEVY OF NEW WEAPONS FOR RIFLEMEN. INFANTRY EQUIPTMENT IS A CRAP T3 (most useful for zooks, which ARMOR doc gets for a t2 and the same price, in addition to 'better' buffs-- +20% accuracy near a sherman? Infantry +10% accuracy looks like puke compared to that schtuff).

Triple BAR is good, Rangers need more weapon options.

Infantry DPS upgrades should be reliant on upgrades for the most part, it keeps it from being naked Rifle spam all day.

The other option, would be to give Rifles the LMG and attach SF to it, then remove SF from BARs, make them cheaper and allow them on Rangers and AB.

Make AP rounds an upgrade for HMGs that replaces the normal HMG with an AP version that has it on cooldown, that way, it doesn't lose it when it's decrewed.

Sherman needs some tweaks, nothing major, it's not bad, it just has to many enemies on the field.

M18 needs to go up to M10 price, then it should be fine.

Rangers need a price decrease, about 10%, then more weapon options and lower SMG cost.

Change Zook unlocks to 2x zook for 75mu, cuts cost of individual zooks but limits the number of squads they are on still.

Just a few things I would change for allies.

I like those suggestions I'd love to see a little more variety on allied inf options. And definitely a price drop on rangers so they are just a more beefy rifleman that costs more with zook and thompson options plus fireup.
