The 88 is a fine piece, if you really cant handle the fact you need to adapt your play style to it, then as you said, avoid using it. It doesn't however, mean it is in need of a buff.

The only buff I suggested was being able to moving it around, But that will NEVER happen because its a coding nightmare and stupid. So yeah, I'm going to stay away from them and stick to my bunker Smiley

Really, the short story of my rage about the 88 is "im mad because im bad"...and so are a few others with it xD

If you really, REALLY are paranoid that the 88 is going to ruin your day due to enemy capture, put a contingency plan in place to destroy it should it be captured.

yeah, place goliath next to it  Grin

90 MU, keep the goliath approx a quarter of a screen length away in the opposite direction of the 88's default firing direction. Make sure the goliath is in cover, thus cloaked.

Problem, stolen 88?

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I *think* you can place your 88 and a truck builds it, yes? Ive seen them placed facing retarded directins so I assume not, just let it get set up like the 105 ffs. And come on, medbunker should heal the thing. Your crew has full health, yay. Engie 1-shots the 88 cuz its been lolartied for the match. 105 gets repaired via triage, lowly 88 arty noms needs sum' love.

For use, what's been said is true. I prefer to use the 'wire the other half off and force them to attack it' method, cuz nothing is shittier then have no arty and having to attack an 88. Snipes inf, tanks = worthless, add a few PaKs and all forms of shit not-on-legs aint worth jack. MGs and mortars/nebels take care of the rest (i stress nebelS, a single wont do you jack. 2 is worthwhile if you wait for a good juicy blob or unmicroed stationary).

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.

88 is entirely map dependent.

Just get used to it, and never rely on it as part of your strat.

Its also 100% team dependant. though that goes for much of the game

That's true, but I normally see it come on when it CAN'T be supported, and it usually comes on and gets built without a word being said. That's also one of the reasons I hate them xD

Its actually 90MU and 10fuel I believe...
but yeah, You have a point, but man, Name me a person that has a Goliath in their Coy as a fall back in case the 88 gets taken over...

Edit:- Also, Edited the title because this is turning into a bit of an 88talk Tongue

I barely have the muntions to run my coy. I havent got room for a goliath…
Also, dont you think its a bit silly having to prepare for a situation that hardly comes up any more (barely anyone plays defensive, its either blitz or more likely terror).

Anyway, back to med bunkers, can someone confirm if its 2 or 3 pop?

Keep med bunkers how they are, 3 pop, garrisonable. Go fix pills/something that more than 2 ppl use.

Because the Allies think its unfair that their Triage isn't garrison-able. Although we are giving up a T3 for it. If I've heard right, the allies only got to give up a T1 for it if your US, and for the Brits, its not even a Doc thing, You get it for being brit D:

Also, Iceland, if they DO make it T2, what would be the new T3 to replace it?

The only one I know off the top of my head is the Flak 88, and you guys know what I think about that thing, so that's an awesome trade if you ask me Cheesy

I can't remember the doctrine off the top of my head, but not double shrecks, 88 would br okay but you'd have to separate it from the stuka, t3 is a bit high for the stuka. Is rocket arty the other t2? Or FTFL

FTFL is the other T2 and The Rocket Arty is T3.
Problem is, Yes the 88 is more tier 3 worthy then the Medbunker, but its not really a T3 really. Compare it to things like the Tiger, the King Tiger, Pershing and the other T3's in the companys. The Defensive ones are a bit lack-luster...

Defensive should have the best offmaps, but rocket arty is shot, and ftfl is good but nobody takes it and it's highly situational. 88 is good no doubt, but putting it as a t3 to vie with the leig and Pak 40 may not be a good idea.
