The terrain seems a little steep Tongue.
And the church seems to be floating?

blackdong your getting better...i would focus on using different trees and textrues....everything looks to similar. Also your getting along fine. It may take a few maps to produce a relic quality one.

to make a map look good ingame, you have to design more than the playable area, as you can see a bit beyound the border of it ingame (depending on camera angle even pretty far).

the map is filled in the middle but there is nothing around, even on the playable part of the map.

you can stamp your whole map into a bigger terrain, via using the stamp and select.. eh "bound box" or something like that, to get everything (+height) saved with the stamp.

Stamping is quite easy. You check all the boxes, stamp, and start a new level.

In the new level you place your stamp, and your map will be replicated, but inside of the bigger one.

Instead of making it a mountain, where it can be easily defended, what about a valley?

Um...

It's called mountainside. Making it a valley would be a complete overhaul of the map, and would negate all the work he's done on the map already.

Oh, and are you working on both of your maps at the same time, blackdong, or are you going to do what I did, and release one map first, to learn the ins and outs of the worldbuilder, and make the other one MUCH better from what you learned?
