Hi this is my very first COH map. Im posting it cause ive noticed some issues that i cant resolve. Im ok at mapping cause i have experiance with the call of duty series....This map builder is much simpilar though..In the time to make one call of duty house ive made one small 1v1 map.

BUGS
1. Engineers cant plant demo on the bridge
2. After being destroyed bridges sometimes dissappear.
3.Water texture looks funky and flashes in some areas when moving around (reminds me of COD relfecting water....thats why it isnt used much)4. i placed wrong weapon items so sometimes when a squad picks up an mg the mg becomes invisible and the squad doesnt break up into and mg squad but acts like an mg squad...

I included the map files with it..the editor one and the finished one for u to help me fix the problems Smiley

one more thing....how do i rename my map if i forgot to name it when i first made it.....its called default scenario now
K i fixed everything but the bridge issues....
WOOT....more testing

Ok i think it is just cause i used pontoon bridges..they dont work properly..when u repair them u r walking on an invisible bridge...demos cant kill them.. and they have issues with disappearing

F3 for some reason wouldnt work..it was pissing me off so i had to take some crappy ones on the drop down menu which ruined most of the pic. I know the map is small thats cause on buggos tutorial on how to get the editor working they said to use smallest map size...

No just HQs (but you can hide them somewhere since they don't show up ingame) and map entry points.

No bunkers, no build area, just a pure map!

i kept hqs and was gonna add bunkers cause i wanted my map functional with VCoh too so that i could play it on skirmish...i didnt like how airfield and some other EiR maps had no VCoh support

I didn't bother giving my maps vCoH compability as it requires a base area to be created, taking in quite a big portion of your map. And in Eir this will just be empty space so thats a shame to be honest.

However if they ever do a mapping contest I plan on redesigning airfield Tongue.

cool. i can never get an eir game so i wanted to test airfield but was dissapointed not cause of no base zones but because there was no fuel or muntions territory.....which geaves me an idea....you guys were talking about terrirtorry tickers..what if fuel and munitions assigned sectors were worth more isntead of just making thousands of tinie sectors in a town

Is there any hope of implementing a skirmish mode for EiR specifically to test maps?  All it would need would be a way to call in default units and have the game continue despite the AI having no units.
