I used to use a tiger not to bad, and Unknown sure knew how to use them.  I think the issue is more of a risk vs reward thing.  Why get a tiger, which will take a nice chunk out of your company, when one bad move ends up with it dead?  Sure if you play well it'll rape em and last forever.  But a sticky(and don't say kite, have you seen what vet rifles can do?) or a bren carrier, or bren, and it dies pretty fast.
Me personally, and most of the other blitz players I've played with/talked to, just find it safer and more effective to just take the other abilties.  Improved barrels is a must, and that 15% incoming accuracy is a must.  Giving up one for a tiger... I'd rather not.

When it hits perfectly, nothing is more demotivating for the other player than his entire squad blowing up with 1 or 2 low health guys remaining. The problem is that even when its sitting still, the tiger isnt very accurate. It struggles to hit anything at all on the move and it really doesnt seem to do that much damage to light vehicles and shermans. With a spotter it owns, maybe both the pershing and the tiger could still go down to 15 pop as fielding a replacable spotter for these units is the biggest problem. Its turret rotation is also utterly craptastic as me and many others have pointed out. Why the tiger cant be given veterancy that helps amend critical issues with this units when fighting nasties like airborne remains a mystery. After all, bltiz doesnt get NGV yet their Tiger could have needed this more than anything else in the blitz doctrine, except maybe barrels which it benefits alot from.

Improved Barrels only gives them +6 range; so from 40 to 46. Which puts them on Par with Tank Destroyers, and still shorter than a Firefly.

Yes, really.

With 3 repair bunkers, you could repair your tiger up from half health to full health in less than 5 minutes, meaning that if you fought consistently with a tiger, and kept pulling back, in a 40 minute game you would give 4-5 free lives to a tiger. With two tigers, you could keep cycling between the two, allowing for the equivilent of 8 tigers to have come and gone.

As someone said - you needed to field ALL of the team's AT to take the tiger out quickly, and completely, or it would come back again, and again, an again.

With the removal of this, the tiger's "I'm here, you REALLY have to kill me" effect has gravely diminished, resulting in a much less terrifiying presence of the tank.

wouldnt work anymore anyways because everybody has like 3 m10s or 3 hellcats minimum in his comoany

It'll probably only come in with the doctrine rework, and yes it's basically a buff to the existing tiger, not a new unit.

Conviction still doesnt work tbh.
